Dear Members of the European Art Editors and Awards Club (EAEAC),
We cordially invite members to a special event hosted by EAEAC in August 2025, where we will collectively visit the world-renowned art institution—the Louvre Museum in Paris, France—to delve into its magnificent Richelieu Wing, focusing on its Asian collections.
This visit aims to guide members in gaining a profound understanding of the vast and rich Asian culture, art, and precious collections. The Asian art holdings within the Louvre’s Richelieu Wing bring together historical treasures from the Far East, Near East, and the Islamic world—from ancient artifacts, exquisite ceramics, and delicate sculptures to unique paintings and calligraphy. Each exhibit narrates a glorious chapter of Asian civilization and its significant role in global art history.
This is an excellent opportunity, and we have invited two curators from art galleries in Hong Kong and Egypt to join us. Together, we will immerse ourselves in the rich and diverse atmosphere of Asian art. They will also share insights into the unique characteristics of Asian art, expanding our international perspectives and drawing cross-cultural design and artistic inspiration.
This is a free event. The detailed date, time, meeting point, and registration method will be announced at our next member gathering.
Please seize this rare opportunity! We look forward to embarking on a trans-temporal journey of cultural and artistic exploration with you in the Richelieu Wing of the Louvre!
Sincerely,
European Art Editors and Awards Club
